Configuring the COM port

Start the ServiceTool.

Click the Communications tab.

In the Comport setting list, select the COM port which was

configured on the PC for the USB/RS-232 adapter (see the
PC's Device Manager).
Under Baud rate, select the COMfortel WS-R2/R4 (9600

baud) option.
Click Set Comport.

The repeater connects to the PC. You now see Re-
peater connected in the status line.

Note: To operate the repeater, DECT encryption must be disab-
led.
