Please read these assembly instructions carefully
before starting the installation.
Ensure that all electric power is turned off before carrying out any work. The
electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified electrician and must
comply with the relevant local regulations. The voltage and frequency of the
power supply must comply with the fan's specifications. The installation site
must have an all-pole disconnecting device with a contact opening width of
at least 3 mm. The fans are double-insulated and do not require a protective
earth conductor.
If operated near a fireplace with chimney, care must be taken to ensure that
sufficient air can enter the room being ventilated. In rooms with high humidity,
installation must be done in accordance with DIN/VDE 0100 T701. Use a
soft brush or damp cloth to clean, do not use any solvents.
Installation
1.
Install the duct in the wall or ceiling. To enable installation and
maintenance of the ventilator, make sure when drilling the ventilation
hole that you leave sufficient space towards the adjacent wall/ceiling
(110 mm from the centre of the borehole, see drawing on page 2).
For wall installation ensure there is a slight gradient ( ~ 2°) towards the
outside. For ceiling installation you must insulate the air duct if it passes
through unheated areas.

Remove the cover from the casing by unscrewing in an anti-clockwise
direction. Unscrew the two lower screws [A] and remove the inner cover
[B] from the casing [C].

Unscrew the middle cover [D] and cut out the cable feed-through at one
of the sections [E] using a knife, round off sharp edges. Interrupt the
building's power supply and feed the power cable through the casing
from the back. Protect power cable using the cable strain relief when
cabling on top of plaster. Screw the fan into place on the wall or ceiling.
4.
Connect power cable in accordance with the connection diagram.
Automatic mode = permanent phase on L
Automatic plus manual mode = permanent phase on L plus switched
phase on L1

Re-assemble middle cover [D] and inner cover [B] and turn on the
building's power supply again.
6.
Adjusting volumetric flows:
Adjustment mode is activated by simultaneously pressing "+" and "-" for
three seconds. Fan settings can be adjusted to the respective installation
situation by pressing " +" or " -".
Recommendation/installation situation:
Ventilation distance
(0.5–3 m)
Up to 0.5 m through
exterior wall
1.5 m with 1 bend
1.5–3 m with 2 bends
