Keys on the Test Instrument
Keys on the Test Probe
The keys on the test probe (measurement, trigger and save/send
key) have the same functions as the keys on the test instrument.
Indication of Operating States
Indicator LED
Status
Lights up green
Measured value OK
Lights up red
Measured value not OK. Limit value exceeded or fallen short of
(after end of measurement).
Blinks red
Measurement not possible. For details see display.
Lights up yellow Measurement in progress
Blinks green 3 x Measured values are being stored
Operating states are indicated by a multicolor LED during measurement.
Operation (measure – trigger – save/send)

Before remote operation with the measurement, trigger and
save keys, measuring functions and measuring ranges must
first be selected at your test instrument.

Establish contact with the measuring point.

In order to conduct a measurement, briefly press the measure-
ment key
or press and hold it until the measured value
display at the test instrument settles in and then release it, de-
pending on the selected measuring function.
The indicator LED lights up yellow during measurement. After
measurement has been completed, the indicator LED lights
up green if the test has been passed or red if it hasn't been
passed, e.g. if limit values have been violated.

Special case for insulation resistance measurement: After mea-
surement has been completed and for as long as contact with
the device under test is maintained, the device under test is
discharged via the test Instrument.

After a measurement has been completed, the results can be
saved by pressing the save/send key or transmitted by means
of the push/print function.
The indicator LED blinks green three times in order to confirm
that saving has been successful.

Note!
The measured values are stored to the last selected mem-
ory location. This location can only be selected at the test
instrument. Please also refer to the operating instructions
for the test instrument, see chapter „Saving Data and Gen-
erating Reports".
Measuring Point Illumination

Measuring point illumination can be switched on with the rect-
angular key directly behind the safety collar.

instrument) in accordance with ElektroG (German electrical and

In accordance with WEEE 2012/19/EU and ElektroG, we
identify our electrical and electronic devices with the symbol
in accordance with DIN EN 50419 which is shown at the
right. Devices identified with this symbol may not be disposed of

the return of old devices.
