Maintenance and Cleaning

Always keep the unit clean. For reliable operation
the deflection prism 4 and the rotor plate 2 must
always be kept clean.
It is best to use optical cleaning tissues.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in man-
ufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be car-
ried out by an authorized after-sales service centre for
Bosch power tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please al-
ways include the 10-digit order number given on the
nameplate of the machine.

Environmental Protection

Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste.
The machine, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper manu-
factured without chlorine.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized re-
cycling.
Do not discard used batteries into household waste, fire
or water. Ensure environmentally-consious disposal in
accordance with legal regulations.
Serial Number
Clear identification the unit is possible through the unit
number on the bottom side (position 19).
Guarantee
Bosch tools are guaranteed against defects in material or
manufacture in accordance with statutory regulations.
Damage attributable to normal wear and tear, overload
or improper handling will be excluded from the guaran-
tee.
Claims can be recognised only when the unit is sent
completely assembled and with the guarantee seal in-
tact (Pos. 21) to the supplier or a Bosch Customer Serv-
ice Shop for pneumatic or electro-tools.
