4. Fill the appliance to at least the external MIN (0.5 l) mark on the water gauge
overheating. Ensure that the water level does not exceed the external MAX (1.7 l) mark to prevent
boiling water from splashing out of the kettle.

7. Plug the mains plug into an appropriate mains socket. Check that the mains voltage and the type of
electrical current matches the information provided on the type plate on the appliance before

1. Make sure you have read the safety instructions before cleaning.
2. Unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
3. Use a slightly dampened cloth and, if necessary, a mild cleaning agent for cleaning the appliance.
4. If using a cleaning agent, clean the housing again afterwards with a damp cloth without any
cleaning agent.
