4. Fill the appliance with water to the external MAX mark on the water gauge
boil the water once, as described in the "USING THE APPLIANCE" section.

5. Open the lid

6. Pour this water away once it has boiled.
7. Rinse the inside of the appliance out with clean water.
8. Repeat steps 4-7.

. The appliance is now ready for use.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Please read through the operating instructions carefully
before using for the first time.
RISK OF BURNING! Always heat water with the lid
closed. If the lid is open, the automatic switch-off will
not work. This may cause boiling water to splash over
the top of the kettle.
RISK OF BURNING! The main body of the appliance
gets particularly hot. For this reason, only hold the
appliance using the handle
RISK OF BURNING! Do not open the lid
