Cleaning the pump
Proceed as follows:

Use a stiff brush to
clean and remove all
washing powder res-
idue.
Flush out all the re-
moved parts of the
dispenser drawer
under a tap to re-
move any traces of
accumulated pow-
der.
Use the previous
brush to clean the re-
cess, ensuring that
upper and lower part
of it is well cleaned.
After having cleaned
the dispenser and
the drawer recess,
replace it and run a
rinse programme
without any laundry
in the drum to flush
away any residue.
Place a container
close to the pump (A),
to collect any spill-
age.

Pull out the emergen-
cy emptying hose (B),
place it in the con-
tainer and remove its
cover cap.
When no more water
comes out, unscrew
the pump cover (A)
and remove it. Al-
ways keep a rag
nearby to dry up
spillage of water
when removing the
pump.
Remove any objects
from the pump impel-
ler by rotating it.
Use a pencil to check
whether the pump
wheel right at the
back of the pump
housing can turn. (It is
normal for the pump-
ing wheel to turn
jerkily.) If the pump-
ing wheel cannot be
turned, please con-
tact the After Sales
Service.
