• Fasten the panel holders at the back- of the LED panel;
of the LED panel; note the figures on the right.
There is a moveable hexagonal nut (1) in the slit of the
aluminium frame in each corner of the LED panel.
• Fix the threaded ring (4) with a screw (3) on the hexagon
nut (1).
The holder should be mounted as close as possible to
the corner (max. distance 5 cm).
• Insert the steel rope (5) into the screw cap (2) in such a
way that it is fixed in the holder. A small metal piece is
pressed onto the steel rope for this purpose.
• Proceed in the same way for the other holders/steel ropes.
Make sure that the four holders are mounted in the
same position in the four corners.
• Measure the distances between the four holders on the
LED panel; they are needed for mounting at the room
ceiling.
• Mark the positions for the ceiling holders on the ceiling
depending on the distances of the four holders on the
LED panel.
• Fixate the retaining ring (7) at the room ceiling.
Use screws and plugs that are suitable for the surface.
• Push the open end of the steel rope through the sleeve
(9) of the retaining holder (6) and through the hole (8) in
the retaining ring (7).
Then, screw the retaining holder (6) to the retaining ring
(7).
• The sleeve (9) can be pressed down; then the length of
the steel rope can be adjusted.
If you release the sleeve (9), a spring will ensure that the
lock, and thus the steel rope, is automatically fastened
again.
• Make sure that the 4 rope cables are adjusted so that
the LED panel is horizontally aligned.
• Depending on the ceiling height or the desired suspen-
sion of the LED panel, the steel rope can be shortened
using a suitable tool.
You also wind up the steel ropes and tie them
together with the cable ties. In this way, you can
adjust the height of the LED panel later, if neces-
sary.
• Mount the LED driver e.g. at the room ceiling; use suitable screws and wall plugs, if nec-
essary, depending on the construction of the room ceiling. There are two openings for this
at the side of the LED driver.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the LED driver with the corresponding connector on the
LED panel.
Plug the connectors together in such a way that the arrows on plug and socket point
towards each other and lock them by turning them (see imprint "CLOSE" + arrow).
Attention!
The LED panel must only be connected to and operated with the LED driver en-
closed; otherwise it will be destroyed. Never connect the LED panel e.g. to a hal-
ogen transformer or similar. The warranty will be void!
Fixate the cable between LED panel and LED driver using the cable spin clips enclosed to
on of the steel ropes.
• Plug the mains plug of the LED driver into an appropriate mains socket. The LED panel will
then light up.
b) Installation at a suspended ceiling
If the size of the LED panel corresponds to the size of one ceiling element of a suspended
ceiling, the LED panel can also be mounted directly to the room ceiling instead of the ceiling
element.
• Remove one of the ceiling elements.
• Mount the LED driver e.g. at the room ceiling; use suitable screws and wall plugs, if nec-
essary, depending on the construction of the room ceiling. There are two openings for this
at the side of the LED driver.
The LED driver could also be attached to the back of the LED panel using double-sided
adhesive tape, or you can fixate it on one of the adjacent ceiling elements. However,
maintain a sufficient distance to other LED drivers or lights.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the LED driver with the corresponding connector on the
LED panel.
Plug the connectors together in such a way that the arrows on plug and socket point
towards each other and lock them by turning them (see imprint "CLOSE" + arrow).
2
• Plug the mains plug of the LED driver into an appropriate mains socket and then insert the
LED panel into the suspended ceiling. Switch on the mains voltage; the LED panel will then
3
light up.

Maintenance and care

• The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason. The LED lights used are permanently installed; they cannot be replaced.
• Before cleaning the LED panel, switch it off and disconnect the mains plug from the mains
5
socket. Allow the product to cool down completely.
• The product exterior should be cleaned only with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
