• Only move the saw forwards.
• Grip the saw tightly with both hands ensuring
that one hand is placed on the main handle and
the other on the front handle.
• When using the track, it must be fastened with
screw clamps.
• Make sure the power cable is not placed in the
sawing direction.
8.4 Sawing
• Place the front part of the machine onto the
work piece.
• Switch the machine on using the on/off switch
(4).
• Push the saw downwards to reach the sawing
depth.
• Push the saw forward evenly.
• After finishing the sawing cut, switch the
machine off and move the saw blade upwards.
8.5 Track adjustment
8.5.1 Place the machine
Rotate the Anti-kickback knob (17) clockwise and
put machine on the track.
8.5.2 Anti-Kickback (Fig. 16)
• This feature will prevent injury to the user if
the saw unexpectedly kicks back (See notes on
kickback).
• The anti-kickback is automatically engaged once
the saw has been placed on the track.
• If kickback does occur, check that the track has
not been permanently damaged.
8.5.3 Track Lock (Fig. 17)
• The track lock is required when performing mitre
cuts.
• Pull the track lock knob (18) and rotate it to fix
the saw to the track. Then the machine will not
break away from the track unexpectedly.
• Set it to the '1' position to lock and '0' position to
unlock.
8.6 Cutting with track (Fig. 18)
• Place the machine in the track.
• Turn on the machine by pressing the on/off
switch (4).
• Press the saw downwards to reach the sawing
depth. During first use the rubber lip is sawn off
and thus splitter protection is guaranteed up to
the saw blade.
• Push the saw uniformly forwards.
• Turn off the machine and tilt the saw blade to
the top when the saw cutting is complete.
8.7 Sawing with dust suction (Fig. 19)
Connect the suction hose to the exhaust nozzle
(12).
8.8 Carbon Brush Replacement (Fig.20)
• Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.
• Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the
same time. Use only identical carbon brushes.
• Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder
caps.
• Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the
new ones and secure the brush holder caps.

9. Replacing the power cable

If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
aftersales service or similarly trained personnel to
avoid danger.
