7.3 Mode selection
7.3.1. Free plunge mode (Fig.5-6)
• Move the mode selector to the free plunge
position.
• Set the desired depth of cut.
• Press the safety button (3) and rotate the cutting
head forwards to the required depth of cut.
7.3.2. Scribe mode (Fig.7-8)
• Move the mode selector to the scribe position.
• Press the safety button (3) and rotate the cutting
head forwards. It will stop at the position when
the depth of cut is 2.5 mm.
7.3.3. Blade change mode (Fig.9-11)
Caution: Before you are going to make the saw
blade change, switch off the machine and unplug
the power cord.
• Move the mode selector to the blade change
position.
• Press the safety button (3) and rotate the cutting
head forwards until it locks in the blade change
position. You will hear a 'click' when the locking
pin has engaged.
• Press on the shaft lock button (14) and rotate
the saw blade (11) until the lock clicks into place.
• Hold down the shaft lock button (14) and open
the blade locking screw (a) counter clockwise.
• Remove the outer flange (b) and the saw blade
(11).
Caution: risk of injuries, wear protective gloves
• Insert the new blade and flange.
• Screw in and tighten the saw blade locking
screw while keeping the shaft locking button
pressed again.
• Set the plunge saw to its original position.
7.4 Cut indicators (Fig.12)
• The cutting line should be aligned with the '0'
marker arrow when performing a plunge cut at 0°.
• The cutting line should be aligned with the '45'
marker arrow when performing a plunge cut at
45°.
7.5 Track assembly (Fig.21-24)
Assemble the tracks (20) with connecting bar (21)
following figure 21 to 24.

8. Operation

After having performed all the above procedures
and operations, you may begin cutting.
ATTENTION: Always keep hands away from the
cutting area and do not try to approach it when
the machine is running.
8.1 Switching the product on/off (Fig. 13)
To switch on, first press safety button (3) and then
press the On/Off switch (4).
To switch off, release the On/Off switch (4).
8.2 Speed selecting (Fig.14)
The speed controller (1) provides variable speed
settings between 2000 and 6000 rpm for the saw
blade. This enables you to optimize the cutting
speed to suit different material.
