Maintenance and Safety Technical Controls

The SONIC VITAL XTcoloR may only be serviced by authorised technicians or by the
manufacturer.
All repairs may only be carried out by qualified, professional technicians.
Maintenance work must be carried out with suitable measuring equipment with
validated calibration. The responsibility for service work carried out rests with
the personnel involved with this activity. Unauthorised servicing endangers the
guarantee and the safe function of the device.
The SONIC VITAL XTcoloR including any connected accessories must be tested at
least once annually as part of the safety technical controls in accordance with § 6
MPBetreibV, This is to be carried out only by authorised persons.
Authorised persons are those persons who, by virtue of their training, knowledge
and experience gained from their practical activities are qualified to carry out such
controls in a proper manner and who have been trained in respect of the function
of the device and are not subject to instructions relating to this control activity.

Functional testing commensurate with the instruction manual
The device is to be checked for mechanical damage and proper condition. The
cables are to be inspected for mechanical faults or damage and also for correct
insulation.
