Keep the extension cord away from
 
dangerous moving parts to prevent
damages to cords that can lead to
contact with live parts.
If the mains cord gets damaged
 
or becomes tangled during use,
immediately switch o the product
and unplug the mains cord to
disconnect the product from the
mains supply.
Use a residual current device (RCD)
 
with a tripping current of not more
than 30 mA.
Do not use any accessories that are
 
not recommended by Parkside. This
can result in electric shock or fire.
Always disconnect the product from
 
the mains supply (i.e. disconnect the
plug from the mains)
whenever the product is left
unattended;
before clearing a blockage;
before checking, cleaning or using
the product;
after striking a foreign object;
whenever the product starts
vibrating abnormally.
If the product starts to vibrate
 
abnormally, an immediate check
must be carried out.
Search for signs of damage.
Perform any necessary repairs to
damaged parts.
Examine for loose parts and
tighten these.
Always ensure that the ventilation
 
openings are kept free of foreign
objects.
Maintenance and storage
Disconnect the product from the
 
mains supply (i.e. disconnect the
plug from the mains) before carrying
out maintenance or cleaning work.
Use only spare parts and accessories
 
supplied and recommended by the
manufacturer.
