    4. Inbetriebnahme Die Batterien sind beim neuen Gerät bereits eingelegt. Ziehen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung den herausstehenden Batterie schutzstreifen aus dem Batteriefach. Das Thermometer schaltet sich dabei anschließend automatisch ein. 5. Einstellung Einheit der Temperaturanzeige, Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen Drücken Sie 1 Sekunde lang die Taste , um das Thermometer einzuschalten.

    4. Initial use The batteries are already inserted in all new devices. Before first use, remove the protruding plastic insulating strip from the battery compartment.
