  • Seite 5 – Da Ohrenschmalz die Messung beeinflussen kann, sollten Sie das Ohr vor der Messung gegebenenfalls reinigen. – Das Ohrthermometer darf von Kindern nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen benutzt werden. In der Regel ist eine Messung ab einem Lebensalter von 6 Monaten möglich. Bei Kleinkindern unter 6 Mona ten ist der Gehörgang noch sehr eng, sodass häu- fig die Temperatur des Trommelfells nicht erfasst werden kann und vermehrt zu niedrige Messergebnisse angezeigt werden.

    5.2 Batterien Die Batterie vom Typ 3V CR2032 ist bereits eingelegt und hat je nach Beanspruchung eine Lebens- dauer von ca. 3000 Messungen. Wenn die Batterie schwach wird, erscheint das Batteriewarnsymbol . Temperatur messungen sind noch möglich, Batterie muss ersetzt werden. Wenn das Batterie symbol blinkt , muss die Batterie ausgetauscht werden.

    Das Ende der Messzeit wird mit einem langen Piepton signalisiert. Lassen Sie die „SCAN“-Taste los. Nun können Sie den gemessenen Wert ablesen. Zudem leuchtet die LED entsprechend dem Messergebnis auf: Die grüne LED zeigt an, dass die Körpertemperatur im normalen Bereich liegt, die rote LED leuchtet dagegen bei einem Messwert über 37,5 °C, d.h. Fieberalarm.

    6.5 Messeinheit ändern Sie können sich die Temperatur in Grad Celsius (°C) und Grad Fahrenheit (°F) anzeigen lassen. Zum Einstellen halten Sie die Messtaste „SCAN“ des ausgeschalteten, beziehungsweise im Stand-By-Modus befindlichen Thermometers gedrückt und drücken Sie zusätzlich die Ein/Speichertaste „ “.
