2.2 Safety instructions for operation

Warning! If you do not obey these instructions,
there is a risk of death or injury.
● Read and obey the warning instructions before
operation.
● Make sure that these persons
do not operate the product
independently:
• Children less than 8 years.
• Persons who do not know the
product sufficiently.
• Persons with disabilities.
● Children must not play with the
product.
● Children must not clean or do
maintenance on the product
independently.
● Do not operate the product when people, especially
children, or pets are in the adjacent area.
● Do not expose the product to rain.
● Stop the product, disconnect it from the power supply,
and let the trimming line come to a complete stop in
the following situations:
• Before you leave the product.
• Before you remove a blockage.
• Before you examine, clean or do maintenance on
the product.
• Before you examine the product after it has hit an
object.
• If the product vibrates unusually.
● Do not put your hands or feet near, or under, the
rotating parts of the product.
● Do not use the product without the safety devices and
guards correctly attached or if they are damaged.
● Do not connect the power cable to a power supply if it
is damaged.
● Do not use the product if the power cable is damaged
or worn.
● If the power cable is damaged, do not touch it before it
is disconnected from the power supply to prevent
contact with live parts.
● Keep the extension cable away from the moving parts
of the product to prevent the cable to be damaged and
contact with live parts.
● Do not use a longer extension cable than necessary.
● The product must be connected to a power supply
with a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping
current of not more than 30 mA,
● Do not replace the non-metallic cutting means with
metallic cutting means.
● The product must only be used in daylight or in good
artificial lighting.
● Do not use the product when there is a risk of
lightning.
