Exsys EX-60120 Anleitung

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Please note the following installation instructions. Because there are large differences between the
PC's, we can give you only a general installation instructions for the EX-60120. Please refer your
computer's reference manual whenever in doubt.
1. Turn off the power to your computer and any other connected peripherals.
2. Remove the mounting screws located at the rear and/or sides panels of your Computer and
gently slide the cover off.
3. Locate an available PCI-Express expansion slot and insert the card. Make sure that the card
is plugged in correctly.
4. Then attach the card with a screw to the rear panel of the computer.
5. Gently replace your computer's cover and the mounting screws.
DRIVER INSTALLATION
Windows
Once the hardware installation is complete, the operating system automatically recognizes the
card and installs it! If the drivers are not installed automatically, please download the driver from
www.exsys.de or www.exsys.ch. The driver is available for your product under „Downloads".
Open the „Realtek Ethernet PCIe" folder, select the folder of your operating system and install
the drivers. Follow the installation instructions and complete the installation. Important! Restart
your PC after the installation!
CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER
Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „Networkadapter" the following new entry:
If you see this or a similar information the device is installed correctly.
Linux

Die EX-60120 ist eine schnelle 10 Gigabit Ethernet Karte für den PCIe (x2) Bus. Sie unterstützt
Half und Full Duplex sowie NWay Auto-Negotation, um sich automatisch an die Geschwindig-
keit im Netzwerk (10/100/1000/2500/5000/10000 Mbit/s.) anzupassen. Weiterhin ist die Karte
mit Auto-MDI/MDI-X ausgestattet und bietet sie eine weitreichende Unterstützung von diversen
Betriebssystemen. Mit der Karte wird ein Low Profile Bügel mitgeliefert zum Einbau in ein
schmales PC Gehäuse.
