Descaling the appliance

We recommend you to descale
the appliance once a month,
in case of using a water filter once a
year.
NOTE
Only use descaling agents which
are suitable for K-fee® – your
system capsule machines. For
further information regarding

SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using the descaling
agent, please read the in-
struction manual through carefully and
follow the warning information.
PROHIBITED
Do not drink the descaling
agent – health hazard.
HEALTH HAZARD
Remove the water filter
before the descaling process.
The appliance must be in off/standby

mode. Only open and close the lever after
this to eject any capsule which might have
been inserted.
After this, remove the drip tray,

used capsule container and water tank,

empty them and reinsert the used capsule
container.

If you are using a water filter, please

remove it from the water tank.
Fill the water tank with the descaling
4
agent at the prescribed mixing ratio (1:4)
and insert it in the appliance. Place a suf-
ficiently large collecting container under
the spout.
