Descaling the appliance

We recommend you to de-
scale the appliance once a
month, in case of using a water fi lter
once a year.
NOTE
Only use descaling agents
which
K-fee® – your system cap-
sule machines. For further in-

SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using the descaling
agent, please read the inst-
ruction manual through carefully and
follow the warning information.
PROHIBITED
Do not drink the descaling
agent – health hazard.
HEALTH HAZARD
Remove the water fi lter
before the descaling process.
The appliance must be in off/standby

mode. Only open and close the lever af-
ter this to eject any capsule which might
have been inserted.
After this, remove the drip tray,

used capsule container and water tank,

If you are using a water fi lter, please

remove it from the water tank.
Fill the water tank with the descaling

agent at the prescribed mixing ratio (1:4)
and insert it in the appliance. Place a suf-
fi ciently large collecting container under
the spout.
