6 Operation

6.1 Operation Touch-Panel

SAM-1000_DP2 is operated by a touch panel at the front of the slide-in module . On the display is shown
the actual state . Moreover there can be done adaptations for the corresponding installation on the
E
parameter screens .

The valve control distinguishes between mode "Local" and "DCS" . In mode "Local" the sample gas val-
ve and bypass valve can be controlled directly at the panel . The instructions for the valve control from
Profibus are ignored . By pressing the buttons "SG" or "BY" the valves can be opened or closed . The
background color of the button shows, whether a valve is open (green) or closed (grey) . The displays of
pressure, flow and fuse control shows the actual state of this monitoring . Generally green means ok and
red means fault .
The „Config" button takes you to the parameter settings . These pages are password protected .
