6 Operation

6.1 Operation Touch-Panel

SAM-1000_DP is operated by a touch panel at the front of the slide-in module. On the display is shown
the actual state. Moreover there can be done adaptations for the corresponding installation on the
E
parameter screens.
The parameter screens can be reached with the buttom "F1". These screens are password-protected.
user: „admin" password „100".
With the button "F4" the language can be switched between German and English.

The valve control distinguishes between mode "Local" and "DCS".
In mode "Local" the sample gas valve and bypass valve can be controlled directly at the panel. The
instructions for the valve control from Profibus are ignored. By pressing the buttons "SG" or "BY" the
valves can be opened or closed. The background color of the button shows, whether a valve is open
(green) or closed (grey). The displays of pressure, flow and fuse control shows the actual state of this
monitoring. Generally green means ok and red means fault.
