When is calibration required?

Calibration is necessary if the scanner has not been used for a long period (e.g., 3
months) or if the device experiences a collision or heavy impact.
Can I use calibration boards from other models of scanners?
•
No. Each calibration card is unique to the specific scanner it is paired with. The card
has a unique QR code on the back, which binds it to the scanner. Using a different
calibration card may lead to calibration accuracy issues.
What should be noted when storing calibration boards?
•
After use, store the calibration board in its original box to protect it from
contamination, scratches, or heavy pressure. This will prevent loss or damage to the
calibration accuracy.
How do I perform calibration?

Connect the scanner to your computer, open the Creality Scan software, go to the
Device interface, click on Calibration, and follow the animated instructions to
complete the calibration process.
Troubleshooting

Windows system computer cannot connect to the scanner:
If using a desktop computer, it is recommended to connect the scanner to the

USB 3.0 port on the back of the main unit. (USB 3.0 ports are usually blue or
red).
Confirm that the system is running Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit).
