5. Getting started

5.1. Check package contents

Remove all packaging materials, including the plastic film on the display.
DANGER!
Do not let children play with the plastic film. There is a
risk of suffocation!
Please check your purchase to ensure that all items are included. If anything is
missing, please contact us within 14 days of purchase. The following items are
supplied with your product:
• Internet radio
• Remote control and batteries (1.5 V, LR03/AAA)
• Audio cable
• Mains adapter (model GME18A-085200FGR)
• These operating instructions
• Warranty card

5.2. Inserting the batteries in the remote control

 Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
 Insert two 1.5 V LR03/AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Observe
correct polarity when inserting the batteries (marked on the bottom of the
battery compartment).
 Close the battery compartment.
WARNING!
There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced
incorrectly.
 Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent
type.
 If you do not use the remote control for some time,
the batteries could leak causing damage.
 Remove the batteries from the remote control if the
device is not going to be used for a long time.
