DISASSEMBLY
Cautions
on Disassembly
Follow the below-mentioned
unit and reassembling it, to keep its safety and excellent
performance:
I. Be sure to remove the power supply
outlet before starting to disassemble the unit.
2. Take cassette tape out of the cassette holder.
3. Take off nylon bands or wire holders where they need
be removed when disassembling the unit. After servicing
the unit, be sure to rearrange the leads where they were
before disassembling.
4. Take sufficient
care on static electricity
circuits and other circuits when servicing.
REMOVAL
OF
CABINET
1. Remove five screws
two at the left and one at the rear), and the cabinet can be
detached from the unit. (See Figure 4-1)
OPENING
OF BOTTOM
I. Turn the unit over, remove two screws @ at the bottom
plate. Then the bottom plate can be opened (See Figure
4-2)

Prior to this removal, open the cassette holder.

out of the main P.W. Board. (See

4. Take the tape counter drive belt

2. Removesix screwsOat the bottom of the unit. (SeeFigure
4-2)
3. Remove two screws@ at the sidesurface of the unit. (See
Figure 4-4)
4. Pull out two record level control knobs @ . (See Figure
4-4)
5. Remove two nuts O from the record level controls. (See
Figure 4-4)
Then the front panel can be detached from the unit.
