Cleaning the lint filter

The appliance has a lint filter that must be
cleaned after each use . Otherwise, energy
consumption and cycle time may increase .

1 . Switch off the appliance .
2 . Open the appliance door (3) .
3 . Remove the lint filter (6) .

4 . Clean the outer filter (22) by hand or with
a soft cloth .
5 . Clean the inner filter (21) by hand or with
a soft cloth .
6 . Close the inner filter and attach the hook .
7 . Place the inner filter in the outer filter .

8 . Insert the lint filter back into the appliance .
If you notice a layer on the filter sur-
face after prolonged use of the tumble
dryer, you should use warm water to
remove this layer from the filter . Dry
the filter thoroughly before putting it back
on .
Do not flush the lint into the drain to prevent
the spread of microplastics in the sewage
system .
Dispose of the lint in the household waste .

Cleaning the heat exchanger

CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Touching the heat exchanger may lead
to injuries.
■ Do not touch the heat exchanger
with your bare hands.
The heat exchanger is located behind the
cover for the heat exchanger (5) and must be
cleaned once a month .
1 . Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et .
2 . Open the maintenance cover (4) .
