To clean your vacuum sealer, please proceed as follows:
1. Always first pull the plug out of the socket.
2. Please submerge neither the appliance nor the cord or the plug in water or
another liquid and do not hold it under running water.
3. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or abrasive materials for cleaning
with appliance, these could damage the surfaces.
4. Wipe the appliance with mild cleaning agents and with a soft, damp cloth.
• Note: The drip tray, which can be found in the appliance backside, can be
unproblematically removed for thorough cleaning and manually cleaned in warm
dishwater (see Fig. 19). Softly push the tray into the vacuum sealer, it partially
snaps out and can be easily removed from the appliance. Clean the drip tray in
warm dishwater, dry it and reinsert it into the appliance backside.
5. Leave the appliance to completely air dry, before storing or using the appliance.
6. The appliance must not be oiled.

If the appliance is not in use, the power cable should be rolled up and placed in
the cable compartment on the underside of the appliance. Never wrap the cord
around the appliance!

• Caution: Always make sure that the appliance's latching mechanism is
unlocked while the appliance is not in use! Otherwise, the seals will spring
a leak. To release, always press both release buttons.
Store the appliance in a flat, dry place, outside of the reach of children and best
keep it in the original packaging. The vacuum sealer can be stored standing on the
appliance bottom, saving space (see Fig. 20).
The latching mechanism must not be locked so that no pressure is put onto the
seals. The seals are consumable material and are not covered by warranty.
