Cleaning the Air Filter

1. Release the 4 screws holding the cover of the air filter.
2. Remove the cover and filter.
3. Wash the filter in mild soapy water. Rinse in warm water. Allow to dry.
4. Wipe the filter with some oil. Remove surplus oil.
5. Re-install the air filter and cover.
Change the filter if it is damaged or cannot be cleaned.

Carburettor

The carburettor is factory-set to the optimum performance. To adjust, contact your local
service workshop.

Spark Plug

The spark plug gap should be 0.5 mm. Spark plug part number 10011121.

Collector Bag

If the bag is full, the leaf vacuum performance will deteriorate. So empty the bag often.
1. Switch off the machine.
2. Remove bag.
3. Open the zip and remove the waste. Turn the bag inside out and shake it.
4. Turn the bag the right way round, close the zip and refit.
Note: If the bag is very dirty, it should be washed by hand in a mild soap solution. Rinse
thoroughly in lukewarm water and allow to dry before refitting.
Never use the machine as a leaf vacuum without the bag fitted.

Storage

Preparation for storage

1. Clean the machine with a soft brush.
2. Drain the fuel tank.
3. Start the machine and allow to run out of fuel.
4. Leave the engine to cool down for at least 5 minutes.
5. Remove spark plug with a spark plug spanner.
6. Pour 1 teaspoon of 2-stroke oil into the compression chamber. Carefully pull the
starter cord a few times. This will distribute the oil through the engine.
7. Refit spark plug.
8. Store the leaf vacuum in a warm dry place, away from harm.
