Do not use the leaf vacuum unless the blower tube is correctly fitted.
Do not use the leaf vacuum on "suck" without fitting the bag.
Be careful where you place the leaf vacuum down after it has been running. The
hot exhaust can ignite dry grass and similar.
Do not run the leaf vacuum for long periods. Allow the machine to cool down in
between.
The leaf vacuum should only be used by fit, healthy persons. If you get tired, take
frequent breaks. Never use the machine after drinking alcohol.
WARNING: Use only original accessories and spares. Fitting unauthorised parts
can be dangerous and is therefore illegal. The manufacturer waives all liability in
the case of accident or other damage caused by the fitting of non-original parts.
Do not suck up fluids with this device such as flammable fluids, e.g. petrol. Do not
use the device close to such fluids.
Avoid wearing loose clothing, scarves, necklaces or similar.
Do not add fuel to an engine while running. Always leave the engine to cool down
for at least 10 minutes.

Assembly

1. Insert the blower tube at the back of the engine unit and clamp with the screw
supplied.
2. Insert the nozzle in the hole below the engine unit.
3. The strap attaches to the two eyelets on the engine unit.
4. The collector bag is fitted by pulling it over the nozzle.

Fuel and Oil

Mix lead-free petrol 95 octane and a reputable semi-synthetic 2-stroke oil. General engine
oil must not be used.
Texas recommend TEXAS Motex 2 TX with a 2% mixture. If other types of oil are used, we
recommend a 4% mixture.
Avoid naked flames in the vicinity of the filling point. Check for any water or dirt in the
petrol.
Always store petrol in a clean approved container.
Always follow the oil manufacturer's instructions with regard to mixing ratios.
