Starting a Cold Engine
1. Add fuel.
2. Place the leaf vacuum so it is resting on the ground.
3. Press the throttle. It will lock automatically.
4. Prime the carburettor, press the primer until fuel runs back into the return hose.
5. There are 3 choke positions. Start, half open and fully open. Place the choke in the
"Start" position.
6. The Start/Stop button is at the top on the handle. Press it to Start.
7. Hold the handle firmly.
8. Pull the starter handle until resistance is found. Then pull hard and firmly until the
engine starts, but max. 10 times. Then leave the engine to rest for a few minutes
before trying again.
9. When the engine starts, set the choke to "half" or "open" and warm up the engine for
around 10 seconds with full gas, i.e. the throttle fully to the right.
Note: Always "follow" the cord back. Releasing the handle risks damaging the starter.
Note that the blowvac can only start if the collectorbag is mounted proberly.
