Starting a Warm Engine

Max. 15-20 minutes after it last ran.
1. Place the leaf vacuum so it is resting on the ground.
2. Press the throttle. It will lock automatically.
3. There are 3 choke positions. Start, half open and fully open. Place the choke in the
"Fully open" position.
4. Hold the handle firmly.
5. Pull the starter handle until resistance is found. Then pull hard and firmly until the
engine starts, but max. 10 times. Then leave the engine to rest for a few minutes
before trying again.
6. Warm up the engine for around 10 seconds with full gas.
If the engine does not start, repeat the process: Starting a cold engine.

Stopping the Engine

In an emergency, the engine can be stopped quickly by pressing the switch to Stop.
On normal use, the engine is stopped by pressing the throttle to "neutral", i.e. the throttle
fully to the left. Let the engine run at idle for a few seconds. Then set the ignition switch to
"0" until the engine stops.

the machine in the vicinity of a naked flame.
