CONNECTING SUNRISE BY MEANS OF MULTI-
CONTACT PLUGS
To facilitate installation and maintenance work the photovoltaic genera-
tor (solar cells) is connected via a protected socket switch connector.
Note! Installation to only one phase of the electric network allows for
installation virtually anywhere in the house. The monitoring method
applied, however, requires that the resistance of the feed lines to the
point of connection is as low as possible.
Procedure
- mount appliance onto the wall as described above
- remove fastening screws on the bottom of casing
Note! Converter with display: when taking off the cover the flat-band
cable for the LCD has to be disconnected carefully.
- push casing about 3 cm upward and take off to the front
- insert three-wire connection cable for the power supply into connec-
ting block
- connect each wire of the connection cable as marked (see fig.5 -
Micro / Mini / Mini-S, and fig.7 - Midi / Midi Plus / Maxi) to the
resepctive terminals
Note! Before installing the multi-contact connector for connecting the
photovoltaic generator (solar cells) make sure that the polarity of the
photovoltaic generator complies with the imprinted symbols "+" and "-".
- mount multi-contact connector to the plus and minus pole of the string
of the photovoltaic generator (solar cells)
- connect strings to the inverter

Note! If only one string connection is used, it is imperative to cover the
unused multi-contact sockets with the caps supplied.
Note! Never separate strings of the photovoltaic generator (solar cells)
from the multi-contact sockets while the inverter is in power supply mode.
Disconnect power supply before removing the strings.
In the case of arcing when removing the strings, replace both the
connector and the socket.

Note! When installing the a.c. connector connect each wire of the power
supply cable as marked (fig. 7b) to the respective terminals on the a.c.
connector.
- connect a.c. connector to the power supply cable (fig.7b)
