HOW TO CONNECT INVERTER TO ELECTRIC
NETWORK
For connection, use three-wire cable of such cross section that the line
impedance never exceeds 0.4 ohms. This is to avoid unnecessary
energy loss in the line and to ensure trouble-free operation of the
impedance monitoring system (ENS).
Minimum line cross sections are as follows:

Caution! Provide overcurrent devices or fuses (12 or 16 A) at
neutral and phase conductors for connection to inverter.
INSTALLATIONS WITH VARIOUS INVERTERS
In general, there is no problem in parallel connecting various inverters to
one phase. If possible, various inverters should be connected to different
phase conductors.
In case of doubts about technical matters, consult your dealer.

HOW TO CONFIGURE VOLTAGE LEVELS OF
SUNRISE MICRO / MINI / MIDI PLUS / MAXI
The Sunrise micro, Sunrise mini, Sunrise midi plus and Sunrise maxi
inverters are preset for operation at solar generators with an open-circuit
voltage > 220 V (i. e. more than 10 modules in series).
For operation at generators of a lower voltage level (8 - 10 modules),
these inverters must be modified as follows:
- Remove screws at bottom of case cover
- Push case cover about 3 cm upwards and take off to the front.
Remove jumper J1 from main board (see figures 3)
Note! When taking off the cover of the Sunrise with display the flat band
cable for the LCD has to be disconnected from the main board
- Sunrise with display: re-connect flat band cable of LCD to main board
- Remount case cover and tighten original screws to secure case cover
Note! Case cover has to be fixed with the original screws in order to
guarantee a proper earthing connection!
