CONNECT SUNRISE MICRO / MINI / MINI-S BY
MEANS OF TERMINAL BLOCK
Note! Installation to only one phase of the electric network allows for
installation virtually anywhere in the house. The monitoring method
applied, however, requires that the resistance of the feed lines to the
point of connection is as low as possible.
Procedure
- Mount appliance onto wall as described above
- Remove fastening screws at the bottom
- Push casing about 3 cm upward and take off to the front
Note! Inverter with display: when taking off the case cover the flat-band
cable for the LCD has to be disconnected carefully.
- Insert three-wire connection cable for electric network into connec-
ting block
- Connect each wire of the connection cable as marked (see fig. 5) to
the respective terminals
- Insert connection cables for DC power supply into connecting block
- Connect each wire of the DC power supply cables as marked (see fig.
5) to the respective terminals
- Use strain-relief clamp to fasten connection cable
- Sunrise mini-S: re-connect flat band cable to connector on main PCB
- Remount case cover and tighten original screws to secure case cover
Note! Case cover has to be fixed with the original screws in order to
guarantee a proper earthing connection!
Caution! Never mix up DC+ or DC- connection cable as this could
destroy the appliance! Although the inverter is equipped with a
reverse voltage protection, an overload due to high solar gene-
rator power may cause its invalidation within short time. Therefo-
re positively check correct connection prior to first closing circuit
at DC clearing switch!

CONNECTING TWO DC STRINGS TO THE INVERTER

In case two DC strings are to be connected to the inverter, simply connect
both to the available DC+ / DC - terminals.
