1. Introduction

The ECODryBlock is designed to heat samples placed in suitable containers positioned inside precision-machined
aluminum blocks.
This instrument is used for various laboratory applications, including sensitive analytical procedure, particularly where
precise temperature control of samples is required.
The aluminum blocks are removable and interchangeable, allowing the operator to select the right block depending on the
application. This flexibility enables the ECODryBlock to support a wide range of container shapes and sizes, thanks to the
wide range of aluminum blocks available.
Each block features holes specifically and precisely shaped to accommodate the container being used.
Thanks to a range of blocks specifically designed for COD applications, the ECODryBlock can be used for Chemical Oxygen
Demand (COD) analysis.
The instrument allows simple and easy programming of time and temperature.
Through the digital display, it is possible to monitor the test at any time, with the analysis time constantly shown.
Using default parameters, to ensure maximum safety, the unit automatically stops at the end of the analysis time.
The instrument features simple and easy programming of time and temperature. The digital TFT touch display continuously
shows the remaining time or count up, allowing the operator to monitor the process at any time. The ECODryBlock operates
safely at temperatures up to 165°C, ensuring consistent and accurate temperature control.
A key feature of the ECODryBlock is its modularity. Using a single ControlPad accessory (code A00000489), it is possible to
control up to two units from a single user interface. Each unit operates with completely independent settings and
parameters. This capability offers great flexibility in laboratory workflows, allowing users to optimize space and reduce the
need for multiple different instruments.
Note: the unit (code F101A0700) must be used in conjunction with the ControlPad accessory (code A00000489) to set
operating parameters and monitor the instrument's status. Without the ControlPad, the unit cannot be used. A single
ControlPad can control up to two units (code F101A0700).
Additionaly, the ECODryBlock can work in combination with the Pt100 or Pt1000 external probe for precise and accurate
control of the block or sample temperature.
