The count-down timer can be enabled or disabled at any time during the analysis by simply pressing the "Count-
down Enable Button" (P4) (the Timer Window (F3) switches between displaying the count-down and the count-up).
At the end of the count-down, the "Timer Window" (F3) displays "End", the buzzer of the ControlPad emits an
acoustic signal and the timer set value is retained for the next analysis. Heating is stopped only if the "Time End"
parameter in the user menu is set to "OFF"

Description
Heating plate temperature limit
It limits the maximum value of the temperature set point for the heating plate.
➢ OFF: disables the heating function;
OFF / 30 °C ÷ 165
➢ Set value between 30°C and 165°C: when the external probe is
°C / ON
connected, the heating plate temperature (internal sensor) will not exceed
(5 °C steps)
the specified limit;
➢ ON: When the external probe is connected, the heating plate temperature
(internal sensor) is limited to the maximum safety value.
Start mode
➢ Stop: when the instrument is powered, the heating function is not active;
Stop – Run
➢ Run: when the instrument is powered, it starts working at the last working
conditions.
Thermoregulation mode with external probe
➢ Fine: optimized temperature control for minimized overshoot and
Fine – Fast
oscillations, slow rise in temperature;
➢ Fast: fast rise in temperature. Suggested for C.O.D. analysis.
Set countdown timer start
Snap – Setpoint
➢ Snap: timer countdown starts as soon as the analysis is started;
➢ Setpoint: timer countdown starts when temperature set point is reached.
Continue heating after time end
ON – OFF
➢ If ON, heating continues after timer ends.
