The basic version provide to connect up to 3 external analysers in a binary way via 25-pole SUB-D
sockets (X1-X3). 1x analogue input, 6x digital inputs, and 5x digital outputs are available respectively.
5x digital inputs can also be externally connected via an additional 25-pole SUB-D socket (X4).
The RJ-45 connector (X7) is used for service purposes such as uploading new software versions.
The X9 connection is not used, however it is ready for installation of a 9-pole SUB-D plug or socket.
You can connect the drives of external devices either via RS232 or RS485.
The 24VDC power supply is connected via a 7-pole Burndy plug (X10; lockable).
The external pump is controlled by a 24VDC signal via the 3-pole diode socket (X8; lockable).
The Profibus cable needs to be connected directly to the control unit in the SAM-1000_DP via the
9-pole SUB-D socket.
Options:
•
Upgrade the gas sample module with up to 4 mechanical flowmeters to monitor the sample flow of external
analysers at the inlet or outlet. A mechanical flowmeter is installed with or without a needle valve for every
monitoring procedure. Connections on the back side F1-F4 via clamping ring or threaded hose fittings.
•
Upgrade of a manual sample inlet by a quick connector body on the front side. The product-specific
sample gas to be measured is connected directly to the front of the SAM-1000_DP and can be purged by
a mechanical flowmeter. The manual measurement on the analysers is only possible in "Local" mode.
If the SAM-1000_DP is released for local operation, the sample can be switched onto the devices as
described in Point 6. The manual sample is upgraded and configured as the last sample stream on the
system.

Upgrade the mechanical flowmeter with a ring sensor (inductive) incl. evaluation electronics to monitor
the flow.
•

the components are adjusted accordingly in the gas-bearing part.

Connect external analysers via an RS232 interface.
•
Connect external analysers via an RS485 interface.
The above mentioned criteria is selected in terms of the measuring task and application of the analysers.
