5. Maintenance and care

Keep the product clean. If dirt occurs, promptly wipe it off with a damp cloth. Pay particular attention
to dirt and solids in the area of the magnetorheological damper (Figure 1, element 4), the connections
of the upper and lower parts, and the charging socket.
Attention:
If the product shows signs of damage or wear, stop using it immediately.

6. Legal and safety notices

Signs of change or loss of utility function:
• Change in gait characteristics.
• Change in the position of components.
• Development of unusual noises in the components of the prosthesis.
• Leakage of fluid from the damper.
In order to maintain safety, it is necessary to:
• Use the product only during the authorized period of use set by the manufac- turer (3 years).
• Undergo an annual safety check of the product.
• In the event of suspected damage to the product, check its function and serviceability.
• If the product is damaged, discontinue use immediately.
• Use only in permitted conditions and avoid harmful environments.
• The product must be checked for damage if it has been used in an unauthorized environment.
• Clean the contaminated product according to the instructions.
• When descending stairs and steep surfaces, use the handrail if available.
• It is strictly forbidden to use the product for extreme sports, running, bicycle racing, or other
activities other than recreational cycling. These activities are undertaken at the user's own risk.
• Avoid contact of the charging cable with magnetic elements.
• Avoid contact of magnetic elements with the charging socket.
