2.3.6
Step 6
In the final stage of prosthesis calibration, you will need to perform a squat with the maximum possible
depth. After performing the squat, press the calibrate button and, in stillness, wait for the prosthesis to
complete the calibration. Moving the prosthesis during this procedure (changing the load on the
prosthesis) may cause it to malfunction.
2.4
Behavioral modes
2.4.1
Walking mode
The correct use of the prosthesis depends on the patient's fitness level. Always adhere to the
recommendations provided by the prosthetic staff. The magnetorheological damper supports active toe-
off during gait, the damper is switched off when the toes are detached from the ground. In this mode,
you can adjust the maximum stiffness of the prosthesis using the mobile app. Refer to section 3.11 for
detailed instructions on this process.
Activation occurs when every other mode is disabled.
Deactivation occurs when one of the available modes is activated via the mobile app.
Recommendations: It is advisable to use this mode for the majority of the prosthesis's operating time,
as in this mode, the prosthesis automatically adapts to the conditions of gait.
2.4.2 Standing assistance mode
This mode is designed to actively support the standing position. When active, the prosthesis actively
prevents bending of the ankle joint, irrespective of the ground angle on which the user is standing.
Activation automatically during ankle joint immobility sustained for 10 seconds. It is operational
exclusively in walking mode and house mode.
Deactivation occurs at the onset of walking or with an abrupt rise of the shin.
2.4.3 House mode
The mode has been optimized for indoor use and short-distance walking. In this configuration, the
prosthesis adjusts the level of support based on gait speed, considering the maximum selected stiffness
level in the mobile app.
