The STEPS is a six step modulation processor, whose steps
can be used individually or chained in combination. Each of
the six steps has an identical set of controls. It is also possible
to chain up to six STEPS modules, allowing you to have up to
36 steps to work with.
Controls
(EN)
SHAPE/TIME – use these controls, in conjunction with
1.
the mode buttons (2) to set the shape or time of the
step, according to which modifier is selected:

2.
MODE BUTTONS – use these buttons to set which mode
the step is in, as described above. Pressing and holding
(4)
a mode button for two seconds will cause the step to
loop, giving an LFO effect. When steps are combined
pressing and holding two or more mode buttons will
loop through the selected steps. The buttons light up
with the color corresponding to the selected mode.

3.
VOLTAGE SLIDERS – use these controls to set
the maximum voltage output for each step,
from 0 V to +8 V.
TIME/LEVEL CV INPUTS – use these 3.5 mm TS jack
4.
sockets to input an external CV to each step, which will
be summed with the voltage set by the slider (3) up to
the maximum of +8 V. In green mode this affects the
time taken to reach the peak of the ramp, in orange and
red modes it affects the level of the output. CV range is
-8 V to +8 V.
Green – the control sets the shape of the ramp,
from an accelerating curve when fully counter-
clockwise (CCW) through a straight ramp at center,
to a decelerating curve when fully clockwise (CW).
Orange – the voltage glides from zero to the
voltage set by the slider control (3).
Red – the voltage set by the slider (3) is constant
for a time duration set by the control.
