8. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before the user sits in the chair, first raise the footrest, and once seated, return the footrest to a horizontal
position and place the user's feet straight.
When leaving the wheelchair, follow the same procedure. The user must not stand on the footrest as there
is a danger of tipping forward.
To activate the wheel brakes, gently press the lever on each wheel. It is important that all 4 wheel brakes
are secured before the user sits down.
To disengage the brakes, perform the same procedure in reverse. It is important to ensure that the brakes
on all 4 wheels are released before starting to drive.

9. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Visually check the chair for any damage, wear and tear or loose parts before each use.
• Make sure that the wheels move freely and the brakes work properly.
• Check all moving parts, such as armrests, footrests and adjustment mechanisms, to ensure that they
operate smoothly.
• Clean the wheelchair after each use in the bathroom to remove soap residue.
