TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The screen shows F-3
The screen shows CLn
Coffee is too cold
Coffee comes out too fast
Coffee comes out too
slow or not at all
No water comes from the coffee
group or steam wand
No water or steam comes from
the wand
Leak under the machine
Coffee is spilling out of the
portafilter during extraction
If these solutions do not solve your problem, please stop using the machine and contact customer support.
CAUSE
The water tank is empty
The machine requires
descaling
The machine descaling or
group cleaning procedure
is running
The cup is cold
The coffee group and/or
portafilter have not warmed
Too few grounds
Too coarse grounds
Too much grounds
Too fine grounds
Water tank is empty
Filter holes are blocked
Water tank is empty
Incorrect electrical current Change the electrical input to that required
Steam wand is blocked
Water tank is empty
The drip tray is full
Too much coffee in the
portafilter
The group head gasket is
dirty
The group head gasket is
worn out
WHAT TO DO ?
Fill the water tank
Follow the descaling procedure p31
Continue the procedure
Warm the cup with hot water
Carry out a 10s flush of the coffee group with the
portafilter in place
Increase the amount of ground coffee
Grind coffee finer
Decrease the amount of ground coffee
Grind coffee coarser
Fill tank with water
Clean filter with group cleaner solution
Fill the water tank
Clean the steam wand with
cleaning solution
Fill tank with water
Empty the drip tray
Reduce the amount of ground coffee in the portafilter
Clean the group head gasket with the supplied brush
The group head gasket is a wearing part. Replace it
with a compatible gasket (wait for the machine to
cool down before replacing it)
