7. Release-buttons
You must press both release-buttons on the left and right of the appliance to
release and open the lid, thus removing the vacuum pressure from inside the
appliance.
8. Air extraction opening
The air extraction opening connects the vacuum chamber and the pump.To
vacuum containers, the provided air extraction hose must be slipped over the
air extraction opening.
9. Contact Pressure Rubber
Lay the end of the bag, which you would like to seal, onto the rubber.
10. Vacuum Chamber
Lay the open end of the filled bag in the vacuum chamber, there the air will
be sucked from the bag and also any liquids, which may leak from the bag, will
collect there.
11. Lower Ring Seal
Closes together with the upper ring seal to make the vacuum chamber airtight.
The ring seal should always be clean and dry. If the ring is porous or broken,
please replace it with a new ring.
12. Upper Ring Seal
Closes together with the lower ring seal to make the vacuum chamber airtight.
The ring seal should always be clean and dry. If the ring is porous or broken,
please replace it with a new ring.
13. Sealing Bar
Teflon-coated sealing element, which heats up and thereby seals the bag.
14. Air-Extraction Hose
Slide over air-extraction opening to vacuum containers.
15. Locking Catches
To lock the cover and base together.
