Safety Notes
This appliance corresponds to the directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and the low
voltage directive 73/23/EEC.

Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-
nung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie-
mals selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch unsach-
gemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines
elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt beim

Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie für den Betrieb auch unbedingt die fol-
genden Punkte:
•
Vorsicht! Bei geöffneter CD-Schublade nicht in
den CD-Schacht blicken. Eventuell austretende
Laserstrahlen können zu Augenschäden führen.
•
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung in Räumen
geeignet.
•
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur bei Temperaturen zwi-
schen 5°C und 35°C.
•
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Vibrationen, Feuchtig-
keit, Staub und direktem Sonnenlicht.
•
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
Brummquellen wie z. B. Transformatoren oder
Motoren.
•
Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen und sofort den
Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlußleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in eine
Fachwerkstatt geben.
•
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur
durch den Hersteller oder eine autorisierte Fach-
werkstatt ersetzt werden.
•
Den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
•
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventu-
elle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.
•
Für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes Staubtuch ver-
wenden, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.

For the operation also watch in any case the follow-
ing items:
•
Caution! Do not look into the CD mechanism
when the CD drawer is open. Laser beams could
be emitted resulting in eye damage.
•
The unit is only suitable for indoor use.
•
Only operate the CD player with temperatures be-
tween 5°C and 35°C.
•
Protect the CD player from vibrations, humidity,
dust, and direct sun radiation.
•
Do not operate the CD player near hum sources
like e. g. transformers or motors.
•
Do not set the unit into operation and immediately
take the mains plug out of the mains socket if:
1. damage at the unit or mains cable can be seen.
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident.
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by author-
ized skilled personnel.
•
A damaged mains cable must only be repaired by
the manufacturer or authorized skilled personnel.
•
Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket
by means of the mains cable.
•
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is operated in the wrong way or not
repaired by authorized skilled personnel, there is
no liability for possible damage.
•
For the cleaning only use a dry cloth for dust re-
moving, by no means chemicals or water.
•

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this

2.1 Steuereinheit Frontseite (Abb. 1)

4 Taste +10 zum Anwählen von Titeln in Zehner-
schritten. Mit jedem Tastendruck lassen sich 10
Titel überspringen. Nachdem die letzte Dekade
der möglichen Titelnummer erreicht ist, wird wie-
der auf die erste Dekade gesprungen.
5 Programmiertaste zum Zusammenstellen einer
beliebigen Titelfolge (siehe Kapitel 6 „Eigene
Titelfolge zusammenstellen").
Bei laufender oder in Pause stehender CD kann
mit dieser Taste die Anzahl der Titel und die
gesamte Spieldauer der CD angezeigt werden.
Nach einigen Sekunden springt das Display auf
die vorherige Anzeige zurück.
Wird die Taste PROG. länger als 2 Sekunden
gedrückt, schaltet das Laufwerk auf Stop. Das
Symbol
(Wiedergabe) bzw.
6 Taste zum Öffnen und Schließen der CD-Schub-
lade (wie Taste 25 bzw. 28).
7 Taste zum Umschalten zwischen kontinuierlicher
und Einzeltitelwiedergabe. Wird die Taste ge-
drückt, zeigt das Display „PLAY 1", und nach dem
Ende des gerade laufenden Titels schaltet das
Gerät auf Pause.
8 PITCH-Taste zum Aktivieren der mit dem Regler
(18) eingestellten Geschwindigkeit. Für die Stan-
dardgeschwindigkeit darf die Taste nicht gedrückt
werden.
9 Tasten PITCH BEND zur Synchronisation des
Taktes eines Titels auf dem Laufwerk 1 an den
eines Titels auf dem Laufwerk 2 oder umgekehrt.
Solange eine der Tasten betätigt wird, ist die
Geschwindigkeit niedriger bzw. höher.
10 SCAN-Knopf für den schnellen Vor- und Rücklauf
je nach Drehrichtung des Knopfs. Je weiter der
SCAN-Knopf gedreht wird, desto schneller ist der

4 Button +10 to select titles in 10-title steps. With
every pushing of the button 10 titles can be
skipped. After the last decade of title numbers the
player goes back to the first decade.
5 Program button to compile a desired title se-
quence (see chapter 6 "Compiling of your own
title sequence")
With a CD playing or in the pause mode with this
button the number of titles and the total playing
time of the CD can be displayed. After some
seconds the previous display is shown again.
If the button PROG. is pushed for more than 2
seconds, the playing mechanism is set to stop.
The symbols
(replay) or
6 Button to open or close the CD drawer (like but-
ton 25 resp. 28).
7 Button to switch over between continuous and
individual title replay. If the button is pushed,
"PLAY 1" is displayed. After the end of the actual
title the CD player is set to pause.
8 PITCH button to activate the speed adjusted with
the sliding control (18). For the standard speed
the button must not be depressed.
