The transformer performance of the external transformer is
30 VA. A wiring conduit with a diameter of at least 25 mm
must be provided to install the power supply cable (see
page 44). The cable provided allows the transformer to be
installed in the dry area (protection zone 3), max. approx. 7 m
from the Cocoon. The transformer must be accessible at all
times. A damaged connection cable cannot be replaced, and
the transformer must not be operated in this case.
Flow heater:
The Cocoon can be used in combination with hydraulically,
electronically and thermally controlled flow heaters (min. 24
kW) when the minimum flow pressure is at least 1.5 bar. Due
to the lower warm water capacity of the flow heater, only one
consumer can be used at any one time. The warm water
temperature at the supply connection must be at least 2 °C
above the desired mixed water temperature.
Pressure differences
The pressures of the cold and hot water connections must be
balanced.
