PRESETSTATIONS

Storing a station(onthedesired waveband)
Tunein the desiredstation(See'SEARCH TUNING' or 'MANUAL TUNING').
Pres s thedesired p reset key(1— 6)for at least 2 seconds(until youhear a beep).
The display s hows t hepreset number onwhich thestation h asbeen stored.
Note: When storing on FMstation, theAFmode (onor off)isstored onthepreset.
g Recallin a station(onthedesired waveband)
Briefly press thedesired preset k ey(1— 6).
The display s hows thefrequency oftheselected station. ForRDS stations this isfollowed b y
the station-name.
y Frequenc SCAN (quick impression of nextavailable station for 10seconds each)
Briefly press theSCNkey.
The display shows : ISCAN' andthecurrent waveband ( forexample IFM3').
Thesetstarts to search for nextavailablestationon currentwaveband and thenthedisplay
shows : thenewstationname(or frequency) a nd thewaveband.
Aher 10 seconds, thesetsearches for the nextavailablestation.
Tostop thescan, b rieflypress theSCNkeyagainwhen youheara station youlike.
AUTO- STORE (to automaticallystore6 stationson FMor MW)
Thisfunction is useful whentravelling through different r eception areas.
Whe n youuse Auto-Store, thenewstations replace a nystations previously stored ontheFM3
band (for FM)or theMW2 band (forMW).
Automatically storingstations (onFM3or MW2 only)
Briefly p ress theAST key.The setgives a beep andthenmutes.
—The display shows ' ASTI. The radio starts s earching fromthecurrent frequency andstores
6 stations on theFM3or MW2 band.When it hasfinishedyou heara beep.
Youthen hear theAuto-storestationon preset1.
Interrupting Auto-Store: IfAuto-store hasbeen accidentally activated, theAuto-store can
be aborted beforethesetcompletes theASTfunction. S witch thesetoff andthenon again.
