Before installation
7.1
Delivery checks
Check the unit for any transport damage. In case of damage or parts missing,
notify the carrier and your local NEDERMAN representative immediately.
7.2
Transport and packaging
WARNING!
The risk of being crushed by falling objects. Take special care when lifting,
lowering and moving the device or its parts.
Always use proper lifting and protective equipment.
WARNING!
Consider the centre of gravity of the device and attachments during transport.
Packaging
The components of the dust collectors are delivered on standard pallets, which
makes them easy to transport using forklifts to the installation site.
During transport, they are protected with shrink foil. Small dust collectors are
delivered as one unit. For larger dust collectors, the hopper assembly and the
silencer are delivered in a separate package.
In deliveries of dust collectors of sizes 50 to 90 with motors from 11 kW to 15
kW, the fan is transported in a separate package.
Fasteners and sealing materials are typically located inside the feed hopper.
Transport
NOTE!
To lift the dust collectors, use hoists admitted for use by competent
offices and with certified slings.
The dust collector can be delivered by various means of transport. Additional
salt protection should be used for sea freight.
Auto M-Z dust collectors can be lifted using eyebolts screwed into threaded
holes in the corners of the top cover of the device or with a forklift if the dust
collector is still on the transport pallet.
Remember that the weight should not exceed the permissible lifting capacity of
the jack used.
Wherever there are transport handles (hooks), they should be used to lift parts
of the dust collector.
The dust collector components can be lifted and moved with a hoist or forklift.
NOTE!
In any case, make sure that the angle of inclination of the sling from
the vertical is not greater than 30º.
