Ending the alarm sound at temperature alarm
An alarm sound is only emitted when the threshold has been exceeded or
undercut for more than 10 minutes.
This prevents too-frequent triggering of the alarm sound at slight fluctuations
around the threshold.
When the alarm sound is output, the icon "
and the respective threshold will flash at the same time. This way, you can tell quickly
which threshold has tripped the alarm.
End the alarm sound by briefly pushing any button. The symbol "
continue to flash until the threshold is no longer exceeded/undercut.
g) Temperature Calibration
The temperature display on the basis station can be calibrated. This means that the
deviation from a reference value (e.g. a high-quality temperature meter) can be corrected
by adding or subtracting a value for the display.
Observe:
The temperature display on the outdoor sensor display cannot be calibrated.
After calibrating the temperature display in the display of the basis station, the
display of the outdoor sensor will show a different temperature.
Proceed as follows:
• Push the button "CHANNEL/+" (16) briefly repeatedly until the arrow symbol (8) is shown
to the right of the channel number 1 or 2 or the indoor sensor "IN" (when outdoor sen-
sors with channels 3 - 8 are signed on, select the corresponding channel number).
• Press and hold the two buttons "ALARM/ADJUST" (15) and "CHANNEL/+" (16) together
for 5 seconds.
The temperature value starts to flash.
• Change the temperature value with the button "CLEAR/-" (14) or "CHANNEL/+" (16).
Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
• If you want to reset the temperature value to the uncalibrated starting value, briefly
push the button "ALARM/ADJUST" (15).
• To save the calibrated value and to leave setting mode, keep the button "ALARM/
ADJUST" (15) pushed for 3 seconds.
The setting menu is terminated automatically if no button is pushed for a few
seconds. The basis station assumes the previous settings then.
