Maintenance and Repair

No maintenance is required for the remote control. It is not possible to repair the remote
control by replacing parts. It can only be replaced by another remote control.
To have your pedelec serviced, please contact an authorized dealer. Have them check
regularly for mechanical wear of the components and whether the software is up to date.
Depending on the mileage or date, the system sends a recommendation to present the
pedelec for service; it is recommended to have the pedelec checked by a dealer at least
once a year.
Once opened, the remote control may not be started up again. Proper sealing of the
housing is no longer guaranteed.
Please have all repairs carried out by an authorized dealer.

Please note that the remote control may not be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. Do
not use alcohol, solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the remote control, only a dry or
slightly damp cotton cloth. Please only use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
Software Updates
You can see whether an update is available in the ZF Ride app. Please carry out software
updates via the ZF Ride app or contact your dealer for an update.
