Operation
Before operating the pedelec, make sure that the pedelec battery is sufficiently charged
and that there are no error messages.
Switching the system on/off
Switch the system on by means of the power button on the Core Controller.
After switching on, the display and the Core Controller show a startup animation. The
display then shows the Ride screen. Select one of the following support levels to be
assisted when pedaling: ECO, ACTIVE, SPORT or BOOST. The system supports you up to a
speed of 25 km/h.
To switch off the system, press the power button on the Core Controller for 3 seconds.
The system switches off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity, e.g., without any
buttons being pressed when the pedelec is stationary.
The remote buttons can also be used to control the pedelec as follows:
•
Up button: Use the up button to increase the support level. If you have mounted a
display, you can also use the up button to navigate upwards in the menu.
•
Down button: Use the down button to reduce the support level. If you have mounted a
display, you can also use the down button to navigate downwards in the menu.
•
Info button: If you have mounted a display, you can use this button to open the display
settings (press for ≥ 4 seconds), confirm a selection or exit a dialog. You can also use
the button to navigate through the various riding screens.
•
Walk button: This button can be used to activate the push assist. Operation is
described in the following section.
Support Levels
The support level can be changed both when stationary and while riding. The desired
support level can be selected on the Core Controller and on the remote. Briefly press the
lower Mode button on the Core Controller repeatedly to set the desired support level.
Press the up or down button on the remote control to change the support level.
Depending on the control element, the support level can be changed in both forward and
reverse direction (on the remote), or the menu can be cycled through in forward direction
on the Core Controller. The currently selected support level is displayed in color on the
Core Controller. You can choose from the following support levels.
