Error Codes

The ZF Bike Eco System has the ability to detect the causes of a malfunction or the
absence of functions. The errors and their codes can be found in the following table. If
there is a critical fault, the motor switches off automatically. An error is indicated by the
power button lighting up red. Warnings are indicated by an orange light and information
by a yellow light on the power button. If a color display is installed on the pedelec, the
error messages are shown on it. You also have the option of viewing the error messages
in the ZF Ride app.
