Intended Use - Zf Remote Kurzanleitung

Do not use the remote control to lift the pedelec, as damage may result.
•
Make sure that the pedelec is not set down on the remote control. This stipulation also
applies to placing the pedelec upside down, as irreparable damage may result.
•
Do not clean the remote control with a high-pressure water jet.
•
To avoid electric shock, never unplug a wet plug and also do not insert the plug if it is
wet.
•
If moisture gets into the plug, dry it before plugging it in.
•
Observe the disposal instructions for the remote control listed in the Chapter Disposal.
•
The system is continuously monitored. If an error occurs during operation, the pedelec
may shut down depending on the error that has occurred. Please inform yourself
about further necessary actions before continuing your ride, or contact your dealer.
•
The display is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the system by a
person responsible for their safety.
•
When assembling the remote, make sure that no small parts get lost and ensure that
the remote and the associated components are kept out of the reach of children when
not installed. The product contains small parts that can be swallowed by children
under the age of 3.
•
The light sensor integrated in the Walk button must be free of dirt to reliably
determine the ambient brightness.
•
If the pedelec is exposed to prolonged sunlight, the pedelec can reach a temperature
of over 60°C. There is therefore a risk of burns. Avoid touching the components when
they are heated up to prevent burns.

Intended Use

The use of the remote control is intended exclusively for compatible systems from ZF
Staňkov s.r.o. and may not be used for other purposes. Other applications or fields of
application are not intended and no claims for suitability or technical conformity for such
applications or fields of application are made.
The remote control is designed and qualified for use in pedelecs in accordance with
EN 15194:2017+A1:2023. The remote control is safe to operate in its delivered state. The
ZF product can be dangerous if it is used improperly or not as intended. Figures might
deviate from the ZF product and are not drawn to scale. No conclusions can be drawn
with regard to size and weight.
